Happy Hall School is seeking aFull-Time Lead Preschool Teacher. The candidate must have experience working with children ages 2 - 4 years of age. Applicant must possess knowledge in developmentally appropriate practices for preschoolers as well as the ability to set up an enriching classroom environment. Must also have the ability to lead a classroom team in accomplishing developmental and academic goals for each child and uphold program standards.

Happy Hall Schools Inc. is an iconic and progressive early childhood organization serving families since 1951. We operate a range of programs for children 18 months through fifth grade at 10 locations in San Bruno, Millbrae, and Pacifica.

Minimum Requirements:

• 12 ECE (Early Childhood Education) units or a minimum of 6 units with 3 additional units to be taken each semester until the 12 units are completed.
• Fingerprint Background Clearance
• TB Test and Health Screening
• Proof of Flu, Pertussis, Measles, and COVID-19 Immunizations
• COVID-19 Vaccination
• Being extremely reliable and consistently punctual is a necessity

Key Responsibilities:

• Set developmental and academic goals for each student and implement purposeful and meaningful activities.
• Assess each child’s development, collect and record documentation and pertinent information for school records and parent conferences.
• Conduct parent/teacher conferences twice a year.
• Supervise lunch, nap, and indoor & outdoor activities.
• Maintain a professional and appropriate relationship with parents and teachers.
• Demonstrate patience, respect and a commitment to children and families
• Being extremely reliable and consistently punctual is a must.
